First Eldora Nordic Ski of the season!

Headed up to fix a few computer things in Nederland and since the snow was good, dropped by Eldora for a 6 mile ski. My leg is feeling great but I took it easy anyway. Had the trails to myself and perfect conditions. Trails were at 98% coverage with only a few rocks on some steep hills. Hope to hit it again later this week. No skating for me though until Jan or Feb--too much stress on the MCL and I want the summer season to actually happen next year! Probably no biathlon either but I will at least marshall some races.
Not tons of elevation on this loop I did but it got me started. I headed out Buck Eye Basin to Wood Cutter/Twisted and then looped Phoebe/Meadows with a return trip on Ja Sure/Gandy Dancer. I think my arms and abs are going to be a little sore in the next day or so. I had green wax on and it was a little slick at first until I scraped and added 2 layers of blue. Game on!
