The "bat" crew showed up today to finally start insulation. They foamed doors/windows and did the attic/interior walls and basement. Monday another crew will come back to blow in insulation in all of the exterior walls. They also caulked seams in corners and wall/floor board joints.
Amy and Maddie on the way in checking out the stash of insulation
Checking out all the foam sprayed on the pipes.
Maddie watching Rick foam windows and foundation. She was able to foam a few things with his help too!
Looking up the front door entry to upstairs.
Master Bath getting an insulated ceiling
Foaming around all of the pipes and wires
Maddie checking the foam on each hole drilled
They used stilts for most of the work--Maddie was very curious
Heli cut his leg running in the woods--not bad, just going to need a bandage for a few days so he wears the boot to keep him out of it now.

The walk through the woods to the house
We came back later and the crew had vacated. They put up the screen to hold the blown in insulation on Monday.
Those are speaker brackets you see hanging down.
No more walking through walls upstairs now! We did not know but they insulated between all the inside walls too for sounds/etc. Super great idea.
Amy checking out the Master room
We had torrential rains today and the door leaked a bit--has not been sealed up yet. Here you can see too they caulked around the base and corners of the door and walls.
Maddie running around the basement-good times for all.
Crawl space insualtion
They also put insulation in the ceiling where there is radiant floor heating--reflects the heat up to heat the floor better.
Kitchen ceiling which also has the insulation for the master bath floor heating.
