Hell in Weld...2016

Headed out with the Hammer for some fun dirt in Weld County...
Here he is, on war path.
Roads were dry, well some were, some were not!
Mmmmm....nothing like a little black liquid manure to keep the drive train turning
Wild rock formations as you roll up and down through the prairies
Hit the Poudre bike path for a bit up near Greeley--some meadow sections and some like this
More rocks by the river side
On our way North of Greeley to Severence
 Great Divide views
Hit a new to us bike trail called the Great Western--great find Hammer!
A muddy cross bike is a happy cross bike.  Resupply stop at our mid point--some of the nicest folks at the Connoco in Severance you will ever meet.
A bit of pavement thrown in here and there to connect dirt up.
And what would the adventure be without a little wadding in some deeper waters?  We called it the bike wash from the muddy sections.  Excellent route, fun day, and tough--I am just tired looking at the pictures again.   107 miles...oh yeah, that makes sense on the tired then.  ;)
