The last two days were great--plenty happening. Its like Christmas here every day--UPS/Fedex...boxes everywhere.
Got out the piece of fir my folks had in the garage which will become the fireplace mantle and the mud room bench. Got out the Stihl 362 saw and cut it like butter! :)
Was also able to get it in the car now too. Took it to Bruce at BKI since he has the big band saw and can help with the mortise for the mounting on the back of the mantle. The bench will be made by cutting the shorter piece to 2 1/4 inch thick and gluing them together for a 14 inch deep bench.
Maddie helped clean up the saw dust. She has been amazing at helping with anything she can lately.
Maddie gave me the preview of the bath room towel rods and such. Nice pick from Amy--looks really nice.
Kitchen sink faucet showed up also--another great pick from Amy. Also got the laundry sink faucet--no pic though.
The Kraus farm style kitchen sink also came--took both Amy and I to move it.
Took off the packaging for a dry fit just to see how it looked. Going to fit real nice.
Grate for the bottom too and the disposal showed up--nice 3/4HP unit which is quieter than the 1/4HP.
Doors, trim, hand rails, closet shelving was all delivered today. That garage fire door is super heavy on the right side. Probably start Monday on this task.
Back hoe delivered to dig out the well conduit to finish the well hookup water pipe/electrical.
Ready now for the well tech to mount the pump, pipe, and electrical controls inside.
