Today the basement walls started going up and the house is taking serious shape.
Plenty of snow again this past week--probably almost 2 feet up here--we decided to delay the slab pours for the garage and basement and go ahead with framing.

Two large beams in the structural design here. Pole is at corner of stairs so there are not any poles in the middle of any rooms in the basement--well worth the design on that.
