Finally, a break in the storm. Snowed all morning but the clouds broke and the rain stopped too. Sun came out and the temps were actually nice. Today Jeff started on the front porch, framing up the beams and the trusses. We are hoping to roof again Monday and maybe pour the garage and basement slabs late next week. Siding delivery next week too so they can wrap the house and start siding!

Now you can see how the porch ties in across the front--there will be a gable end framed out over the front door that sticks out a little past the part of the porch that is framed there now. All large beams on the gable end. Nice sun in the morning and then shade in the afternoon. Should be perfect in the summer.
